Angela Fina is known for her work in high fired porcelain and her development of a palette of original glazes.
Fina?s clean and simple forms reflect their practical utility. Although most of her work was thrown, she also hand built pieces using slabs or extrusion methods. Fina focused on the chemistry and formulation of glazesresulting in the range of rich glazes used to finish her pots. She fired in the same gas kiln for most of her career.
Fina is also well known for the containers she made for Ikebana, or Japanese floral arrangements.
