    About
    Biography

Robert Glover is known for hand-built vessel forms. At times the forms are functional, most often they are sculptural based on the vessel form.In 2006 Glover began creating slab, coiled and pinch-constructed sculptural forms. Earthenware is the most often used clay. Surface treatments include carving, sprayed and splattered underglazes layered with brushed on designs of terra sigillata. The surfaces are burnished with smooth river stones.

Glover studied with Tony Ivins at Chaffey Junior College and with Peter Voulkos and Helen Watson at Otis.
