    About
    Biography

Connee Mayeron is known for thrown and altered functional porcelain pottery and vessel forms. Surface techniques include undulating organic surfaces formed by the hand and simple tools in the wet and leatherhard stages. Among a variety of functional wares, signature forms include pedestal bowls with organic textured surfaces. Glazed surfaces appear in celadons, blacks, or whites. Occasionally, gold luster is added over glazes and down fired in an electric kiln.
