Dawn King is known for functional wheel-thrown porcelain. The pieces are known to be decorated with metal elements created using the ?electroforming? process.
King andher then husband, David Snair,adapted electroforming, a jewelry making technique, for use withclay. They used it on the surface of their pots to add loose and abstract metallic details. These metal details were used on lids of jars and the inner surfaces of bowls and plates.
