Francine Ozereko is known for functional pottery and sculpture. Her wares include mugs, platters, plates, vases, pitchers, wall pieces, and small relief tiles. Typical imagery includes birds, leaves, and other motifs found in nature as well as simple geometric patterns.
The surfaces may be finished using wax resist or sgraffito techniques. From 1982 to 1998, the work was in low-fire red earthenware. Since 1998, Ozereko has used porcelain these pieces that are fired in oxidation.
