    John Conroy is known for hand-built porcelain animal and figurative sculptural work. Conroy uses unglazed porcelain employing a variety of surface techniques including carving. A line of functional pottery is made under the name and mark Greenlion Pottery.

    Conroy first worked as a painter and sculptor for theater companies. In the early 2000?s he learned to wheel-throw at Clayscapes Pottery.
