Jeffrey Noska produces functional and sculptural work. His functional wares are high-fired stoneware and porcelain produced at his Composite Clay Studio. Noska?s sculptural work shows a connection with his functional work in the architecturally influenced forms he constructs.
In 1997 he co-designed and co-taught a course that included kiln building and firing of the Anagama Waterville Wood-fire kiln at the University of Wisconsin-Waukesha Field Station. Since its creation, the kiln has been the focus of the annual four-day firing, a collaborative effort with University of Wisconsin -Milwaukee.
