    Joyce Kohl is known for creating series of abstract ceramic sculptures . Clay type and surface finish vary depending on the project at hand. Significant bodies of work include undulating textured ceramic wall hangings that are mono-printed with glaze. A separate body of work is abstract adobe clay forms that are paired with welded steel.
