Ken and his wife Pat Larsonare best known for wheel-thrown and altered stoneware, terra cotta, and raku fired pots, as well as hand-built sculptures with molded elements. Sculptures often depict ravens and other animals. Molds are handmade. Bronze pieces are cast at a bronze foundry.
The couple designs their works together; however, Ken is mainly focused on the elements of the sculpture, while Pat concentrates on hand-building and low relief decoration.
