    Patz Fowle is known for illustrative, handmade ceramic sculptures glazed with bright low-fire colors. Works often feature anthropomorphic animals, such as zoo animals taking a taxi or a fish walking to work with a briefcase.

    Fowle has developed unique sculptural techniques known as the ?Patz Process Ceramic Technique.? This technique has been recognized by the American Ceramic Society and featured in art textbooks.

    Fowle collaborates with her husband Mike Fowle on large scale metal public art sculptures.
