    About
    Biography

Eric Serritella is known for trompe l?oeil stoneware ceramic sculptures that challenge the [no-lexicon]viewer[/no-lexicon] with both the nature of the material and its transformation to tree bark and branches. Whether wheel-thrown or hand-built, these forms are completely hand-carved and transformed to mimic weathered logs and birch trees. His interest in the Asian aesthetic led him to two residencies with his role model, Taiwanese potter, Ah Leon.
