About
- Biography
-
Porntip Sangvanich is known for teapots and tea sets that reflect her focus on impeccable technique while exploring the possibilities of the combination of straight and curved lines and forms. The work shows her interest in geometric shapes and the dramatic use of color. Various pieces are constructed from earthenware or porcelain using slab-building techniques combined with extruded components. Her studies with Ralph Bacerra at Otis College of Art and Design are also reflected in her choice of forms and colors."""
