    Biography

Ronnie Gould is known for hand-built stoneware dog sculptures as well as sculptures of other domestic, endangered and exotic animals.

Gould is known to apply a porcelain slip to produce a brilliant white surface. After application of slip, it is dried and the sculpture bisque fired. The piece is then glazed and fired a second time using raku, saggar, or smoke. Gould studied ceramics with Makoto Yabe at the DeCordova Museum school.
