Annette Lowder

Annette Lowder is known for wheel-thrown functional stoneware. Lowder frequently dips forms in multiple colors of glaze. Decorative techniques include slip trailing, deep carving, and sgraffito. For Lowder?s Mandala series intricate slip trailing is the primary decorative technique. When imagery appears on work it is drawn from the natural world.
