Nolan Baumgartner is known for soda fired functional porcelain vessel forms that includelidded jars sometimes utilizing a reticulated upper rim. The jar lid has a finial set within the rim, the finial showing above. The jar body is surrounded with a stylized repeated glaze and slip motif.
