Doug Casebeer
Doug Casebeer uses either stoneware or porcelain to create a wider range of functional pieces. At times the pieces are fired in atmospheric conditions, including the addition of salt to the kiln. Casebeer has explored 3D printing using organic polymer to create a series of dinnerware pieces. He has also created small scale mixed media sculpturess and architectural forms. Casebeer says about his work, ?My artwork is influenced by rural archetypal forms of the western landscape and by many years of experiencing different global cultures."
