CJ Niehaus | 1964 – Present

Chandra DeBuse is known for wheel-thrown and/or hand built functional pottery decorated with low relief drawn elements and playful narrative scenes. Her work features animal and stylized human characters, coupled with abstracted and simplified patterns of tree bark, water, waves and flowers. Pastel blue and green glazes are typically used as a backdrop for many scenes.
