Small Sculpture

USA, 1900
<p>A spherical table top sculpture with a circular area cut away revealing a concave area. This area is red with blothches of black. There are 3 deeper concave areas that are light yellow.  A piece of metal electrical cable emerges from the top of the sculpture and curves around the outside.</p><p>A detail of one of the yellow areas showing the rough texture of the glaze and that there is a dark blue glaze around its rim. The electrical cable is shown as it curves around the outside of the  sculpture.</p><p>The underside has irregular black areas on a <span>light blue </span>ground with light yellow areas. The end of the electrical cable comes up from the lower left. Portions of two of the light yellow concave areas show along with the dark blue glaze around them.</p><p> </p>
