<p>A crudely built table top sculpture. The body slants in to a waist then expands to the shoulders. There is an incised line accross the chest area, it has a band of red glaze along it, is it a mouth?. Below it there is a series of black brush strokes and a red arch of glaze rising from the base. There is an oval form with a pressed in place on each side above the red mouth. Two funnel forms sit on the shoulders, a crudly formed ear shape is attached to each side of these. There is an irregular band of black going from ear to ear.</p><p>The reverse shows the crudeness of the object. The ears have red washes, there is a wider black band going from one to the other. The dividion of the two funnels is clear, there is a red wash were they join the shoulders. There is a smile shaped opening cut across the back. A light blue circle of glaze is on the left side. Some black comes around from the right side. There are random holes poked and incising near the base.</p><p>This side view view shows two large black areas on rhe body. There are random splotches of red. The side of an ear and  the openings of the two funnel forms are visible.</p><p>The underside view shows a low foot. there are numerous stickers. An oval one has 80.8.10 handwritten on it. Scripps College and the accession number 80.8.10 is typed on it. A piece of masking tape has 232 handwritten on it.</p>
