Bowl

USA, 1900
<p>A bowl created by joining two oval bowls at their narrow ends. The sides rollout twice creating an undulating form. They are topped with am undulating rim. There are blue, yellow, brown, gold, and black vertical stipes running ftom the foot to the rim. <span>There are white cloud forms on the exterior. They are surrounded with tiny dots in the above colors. </span>The edge of the rim is also gold as are the edges of several cut out cloud forms just below the rim. The interior of the rim is white with clouds that are light blue with multiple small blue dots nearly covering them.</p><p>This shows the two joined oval sections and the straight wall between them. The interior side walls are clear glazed earthenware. The bottom is grey with an oval blue circle in the middle of each section. There are tiny multicolored dots around the bottom where it meets the sides.</p><p>A detail of the rim at a narrow end shows three cut out vertical rectangles as well as the gold treatment on all the edges of the piece.</p><p>A detail of the foot shows the earthenware underside and the lines running up the side.</p><p>A full view showing the earthenware feet and undersides .</p><p> </p><p> </p>
