Tina Michelle Gebhart is known for porcelain wheel thrown and altered pottery. Gebhart?s repertoire includes bowls, plates, mugs, and teapots. The standard glaze for these pieces is a thick creamy white which accentuates the hand altered frequently heavily textured surfaces. Gebhart states her inspiration as Sung and Koryo Dynasty pots, American dinnerware, and architecture, among other things.[1]
Gebhart is currently an associate professor of ceramics at Gettysburg College in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.
