Covered Jar

<p>This covered jar has a very narrow foot, sides that curve outward until they move inward to a very delicate black nob on the lid. There are two circles that help align the lid. The piece is various greys covered with pox marks. </p><p>The unglazed underside shows a perfect round foot. There is a signature incised into the base. The accession number, 2004.1.307a, and 239.A are written on the clay.</p>
