Kyle Barry Carpenter | 1976 – Present

Kyle Carpenter?s work is wheel-thrown and salt-fired. He uses brushwork decoration to adorn his pottery with natural images, often of reeds, grasses and birds, inspired by his native state of North Carolina. Influences include North Carolina folk pottery, the Japanese mingei arts and crafts movement and his training as an illustrator.
