Craig A. Bird | 1959 – Present

Ken Little is known for large scale sculpture, installation and performance art. Little often used mixed media to create sculptures. Shards of ceramic plates or cups are arranged to create the sculptural form. In paintings or other sculptural works, Little incorporated edges of shards to animate the surface of the painting or sculpture to create the feeling of discomfort in the viewer. Little is, however, known primarily for non-ceramic sculptures focused on metal castings combining abstract elements with casts of everyday items, for example shoes. Mediums include: ceramics, bronze, neon, wood, steel, performance art, cast iron, etc.[1]
