Cary Hulin and wife, Elaine Hulin, are known for wood fired wheel-thrown stoneware pottery fired in teardrop shaped, cross-draft wood kiln. Cary throws pots and Elaine decorates them.

The Hulins live in Big Prairie, Ohio, in the heart of Ohio?s Amish country. Although they are not Amish the Hulins settled in Big Prairie because of the inexpensive land, proximity to sawmills, and the welcoming Amish community.

Cary Hulin? studied with Jim Hensen at Bradley University. Both Cary and Elaine apprenticed with Todd Picker at Cornwall Bridge Pottery.
