Kathy Gutierrez-Naranjo

Kathy Gutierrez-Naranjo, is known for coil-built pottery taught to her by her mother, Helen Gutierrez of the San Ildefonso Pueblo, New Mexico. Work is black or red pottery polished to a high sheen with decorated slip patterns. Kathy Gutierrez-Naranjo collaborates with her sister Carol Gutierrez-Naranjo on the work but each sign separately.

Kathy Gutierrez-Naranjo is the daughter of Helen Gutierrez, a prominent potter from the San Ildefonso Pueblo in New Mexico.
