Jim Koudelka | 1953 – Present

Jim Koudelka is known for stoneware pottery with surface decorations inspired by mid-century modern designs. Koudelka refers to this work as ?mid-century modern plus.? The work is often salt-fired to cone 10. Koudleka also makes sculptural vessels, such as the series ?Man Cans and Boy Toys 2? that combine industrial referenced objects made of clay, glass, and metal to create unique forms.

Koudelka and Janet Buskirk share a studio but work independently.
