Brooke Millecchia is a studio potter and educator known for functional, wheel-thrown, and altered stoneware pottery. She starts by throwing her pots on the wheel then altering them to add corners and angles to the once circular vessels. Millecchia then applies patterning and symmetrical geometric images as her surface decoration.
She uses found objects, handmade brushes, and other tools to create and apply designs to each piece. Her palette is usually warm and the surface can vary from glossy to matte even on one piece.
