Nancy Jacobsohn

Justin Lambert is known for wheel-thrown and altered functional pottery. Surfaces are decorated in the greenware stage. Techniques include faceting, or the application of thick slips to create soft surface lines and textures. Lambert fires his wares in an Anagama style wood burning kiln for 3-6 days. Finished surfaces most often appear in earth tones, ranging from matte to gloss finishes.
