USA, 1960

Two sides, flat top, and neck of a short triangular vase created from five slabs. The flat top of the form slants from a point of a triangle on the left to the triangle's side on the right of the form. The seams where the pieces were joined are prominant. The side pieces are pressed onto the slab that is the bottom. The surface is rough with blotchy brown and green areas. A short open cylinder rises from the center of the top triangle.

A close up of the top. The cylinder is in the center of the top. There are dark glaze runs around it. The crude construction seams where the pieces were joined are prominant.

The underside view shows one point is missing from the trianglar base. There are dark stains around the edges of the unglazed bottom. A yellow tag (upside down in the image) has Harold Meyers $40.00 and some other illegible numbers handwritten. An upside down white tag has Scripps College 80.8.15 typed on it.
